An Act to Amend Chapter 141
of the Acts of 1970,
An Act to Incorporate
Mount Saint Vincent University Student Union

Be it enacted by the Governor and Assembly as follows:

1 The title of Chapter 141 of the Acts of 1970, An Act to Incorporate Mount Saint Vincent University Student Union, is amended by adding "Association" immediately after "Union" in the second line.

2 Section 1 of Chapter 141 is amended by adding "Association" immediately after "Union" in the eighth line.

3 Section 2 of Chapter 141 is amended by

(a) striking out clause (a) and substituting the following clause:

(a) to provide effective representation, advocacy, governance, services and student life to the students of Mount Saint Vincent University, Halifax, Nova Scotia;

and

(b) striking out "Halifax, Nova Scotia" in the third line of clause (b).

4 Chapter 141 is further amended by adding immediately after Section 2 the following Section:

2A The Union shall operate on a not-for-profit basis.
