Upon the recommendations of the 1992 Electoral Boundaries Report, Digby was renamed Digby-Annapolis Royal. It gained Annapolis Royal, Annapolis Basin/Clements area and Milford/Maitland Bridge area from Annapolis West. In 2013 following the recommendation of the Electoral Boundaries Commission, this Digby portion of this district merged with Clare Digby and the Annapolis portion merged with Annapolis, excluding the Maitland Bridge area which merged with Queens-Shelburne.
