Explanatory Note
This Bill prohibits fees for fishing licences for residents of Nova Scotia who are 65 years or more of age.
An Act to Amend Chapter 504
of the Revised Statutes, 1989,
the Wildlife Act
Be it enacted by the Governor and Assembly as follows:
1 Section 53 of Chapter 504 of the Revised Statutes, 1989, the Wildlife Act, is amended by adding immediately after subsection (2) the following subsection:
(2A) Notwithstanding clause (l) of subsection (1) of Section 113, no fee shall be charged for a licence, to fish in Provincial waters, issued to a resident aged sixty-five years or more.
