An Act to Dissolve The Ladies
Golf Association of Nova Scotia and
to Repeal Chapter 128 of the Acts of 1973,
The Ladies Golf Association of Nova Scotia Act

Be it enacted by the Governor and Assembly as follows:

1 (1) The Ladies Golf Association of Nova Scotia, a body corporate established pursuant to Chapter 128 of the Acts of 1973, The Ladies Golf Association of Nova Scotia Act, is dissolved.

(2) Any property of The Ladies Golf Association of Nova Scotia, after payment of its debts and fulfilment of its obligations, shall be paid to the Nova Scotia Golf Association, a society incorporated pursuant to the Societies Act.

2 (1) A reference in any enactment or document to The Ladies Golf Association of Nova Scotia shall, as regards any subsequent transaction, matter or thing, be held and construed to be a reference to the Nova Scotia Golf Association.

(2) No rights, duties, obligations or liabilities of The Ladies Golf Association of Nova Scotia are in any way affected by the dissolution of the Association pursuant to subsection 1(1) or the transfer of property pursuant to subsection 1(2) and those rights, duties, obligations and liabilities continue and are binding on the Nova Scotia Golf Association.

3 Chapter 128 of the Acts of 1973, The Ladies Golf Association of Nova Scotia Act, is repealed.

4 This Act comes into force on such day as the Governor in Council orders and declares by proclamation.
