An Act to Amend Chapter 141
of the Acts of 1918,
An Act to Amend and Consolidate the Acts
Respecting the Sisters of Saint Martha

Be it enacted by the Governor and Assembly as follows:

1 Clause 4(b) of Chapter 141 of the Acts of 1918, An Act to Amend and Consolidate the Acts Respecting the Sisters of Saint Martha, is repealed and the following clause substituted:

(b) to purchase, take, acquire, hold and enjoy real and personal property, and to

    (i) sell, mortgage, lease, convey, or otherwise dispose of the same for such consideration as the Corporation sees fit for the benefit of the Corporation and for the furtherance of the educational, charitable and religious objects thereof, or any of them, and

    (ii) convey or transfer by way of gift or sell, mortgage, lease, convey, or otherwise dispose of the same without consideration, or without full consideration, if the real estate or personal property, or any part thereof, is transferred to another religious, educational or charitable corporation, association, foundation, order or entity that the Corporation determines has religious, educational or charitable objects or purposes similar to those of the Corporation, or any of them;
