An Act to Amend Chapter 208
of the Revised Statutes, 1989,
the Hospitals Act

Be it enacted by the Governor and Assembly as follows:

1 Section 2 of Chapter 208 of the Revised Statutes, 1989, the Hospitals Act, as amended by Chapters 6 and 29 of the Acts of 2000, Chapter 42 of the Acts of 2005, Chapters 8 and 58 of the Acts of 2008 and Chapter 32 of the Acts of 2014, is further amended by adding immediately after clause (sb) the following clause:

(sc) "qualified nurse practitioner" means a nurse practitioner as defined in the Nursing Act;

2 Section 8 of Chapter 208, as amended by Chapter 58 of the Acts of 2008, is further amended by adding ", a qualified nurse practitioner" immediately after "practitioner" in the fourth line.
