An Act to Implement
the Support Our Troops License Plate Program

WHEREAS the Support Our Troops License Plate Program has been adopted by Alberta, Manitoba, Ontario and Saskatchewan;

AND WHEREAS there are 12,922 members of the Canadian Armed Forces in Nova Scotia;

AND WHEREAS those members contribute greatly to our province and country;

THEREFORE be it enacted by the Governor and Assembly as follows:

1 This Act may be cited as the Support Our Troops License Plate Program Act.

2 In this Act, "Support Our Troops License Plate Program" means the Support Our Troops License Plate Program of Support Our Troops, the official charitable cause of the Canadian Armed Forces operated within Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services.

3 The Minister of Public Works, in collaboration with the Minister responsible for Military Relations, shall implement the Support Our Troops License Plate Program in the Province.
