An Act to Create a Provincial
Agriculture Growth Strategy

Be it enacted by the Governor and Assembly as follows:

1 This Act may be cited as the Agriculture Growth Strategy Act.

2 (1) The Minister of Agriculture shall, in consultation with agricultural producers and industry, create an Agriculture Growth Strategy for the Province.

(2) The Strategy must contain clear targets for the growth of agriculture in the Province.

(3) The Minister shall make the Strategy publicly available by causing it to be posted on the website of the Department of Agriculture.

(4) The Department's website must be updated at least monthly to show progress made on meeting the Strategy's targets.
