An Act to Reduce the Penalty for
Late Entry into the Seniors' Pharmacare Program

Be it enacted by the Governor and Assembly as follows:

1 This Act may be cited as the Seniors' Pharmacare Penalty Reduction Act.

2 Notwithstanding the Fair Drug Pricing Act and the Seniors' Pharmacare Program Regulations made under that Act, the Seniors' Pharmacare Program is amended to provide that the length of time for application of the penalty of one and a half times the premium otherwise payable for late enrolment in the Plan is payable for only one year.
