Clause 1 changes the short title of the Act.

Clause 2 requires reporting of stab wounds and severe intentionally inflicted injuries in addition to gunshot wounds.

An Act to Amend Chapter 30
of the Acts of 2007,
the Gunshot Wounds Mandatory Reporting Act

Be it enacted by the Governor and Assembly as follows:

1 Section 1 of Chapter 30 of the Acts of 2007, the Gunshot Wounds Mandatory Reporting Act, is amended by adding "and Other Severe Intentional Injuries" immediately after "Wounds" in the first line.

2 Subsection 3(1) of Chapter 30 is amended by

(a) adding ", stab wound or other severe injury that appears to be deliberately inflicted" immediately after "wound" in the second line; and

(b) adding ", stab wound or other severe injury that appears to be deliberately inflicted" immediately after "wound" in the second line of clause (a).
