An Act Respecting the Dissolution of
Zion United Baptist Church of Yarmouth

Be it enacted by the Governor and Assembly as follows:

1 This Act may be cited as the Zion United Baptist Church of Yarmouth Dissolution Act.

2 In this Act,

(a) "Church" means the Zion United Baptist Church of Yarmouth, incorporated by An Act to Incorporate Zion United Baptist Church of Yarmouth, Nova Scotia;

(b) "Treasurer" means Richard Pitman, Treasurer of the Church.

3 (1) Upon dissolution of the Church, all remaining assets and liabilities of the Church are vested in the Treasurer.

(2) The Treasurer shall discharge the remaining liabilities of the Church and subsequently distribute the remaining assets of the Church in accordance with the Schedule to this Act.

4 The Church is dissolved.

5 Chapter 117 of the Acts of 1960, An Act to Incorporate Zion United Baptist Church of Yarmouth, is repealed.

a. Camp Peniel.................................................................................30%
(80% to Camp Building Fund and
20% for Send Kids to Camp Program)

b. Yarmouth North Baptist Church..................................................20%

c. Temple Baptist Church................................................................20%

d. Home Group................................................................................15%

e. Other ............................................................................................15%
(Crandall University and Acadia Divinity each 30%
of this allotment. The money is to be invested and an
annual $1,000 Bursary in Zion's name offered to a
financially needy student entering ministry, until the
allotment is used up. The Yarmouth Fuel Bank and
The Yarmouth Food Bank to each receive 20% of
this allotment.)
