Explanatory Notes

Clause 1 removes the $5,000 limit on the value of real estate The Annapolis Valley Apple Blossom Festival may own or acquire.

Clause 2 removes the requirement for the by-laws of the Festival to be approved by the Governor in Council.

of the Acts of 1935,
An Act to Incorporate
The Annapolis Valley Apple Blossom Festival

Be it enacted by the Governor and Assembly as follows:

1 Section 2 of Chapter 107 of the Acts of 1935, An Act to Incorporate The Annapolis Valley Apple Blossom Festival, is amended by striking out "to the value of Five Thousand Dollars" in the third and fourth lines.

2 Section 5 of Chapter 107 is amended by striking out ", when approved by the Governor in Council," in the seventh and eighth lines.
