Explanatory Note

This Bill requires that the regulations that divide vehicles into classes must provide that antique motorcycles are a class of vehicle.

An Act to Amend Chapter 293
of the Revised Statutes, 1989,
the Motor Vehicle Act

Be it enacted by the Governor and Assembly as follows:

1 Section 10 of Chapter 293 of the Revised Statutes, 1989, the Motor Vehicle Act, is amended by adding immediately after subsection (1) the following subsection:

(1A) Regulations dividing vehicles into classes made pursuant to subsection (1) must include a class of vehicle designated and known as an antique motorcycle.

2 This Act comes into force on September 30, 2012, or such earlier day as the Governor in Council orders and declares by proclamation.
