Explanatory Note
This Bill requires the funding of insulin pumps under the M.S.I. Plan.
An Act to Support Diabetic Persons
in Nova Scotia
1 This Act may be cited as the Diabetic Persons Support Act.
2 Subsection 17(2) of Chapter 197 of the Revised Statutes, 1989, the Health Services and Insurance Act, as amended by Chapter 20 of the Acts of 1992, is further amended by adding immediately after clause (c) the following clause:
(ca) requiring the funding of insulin pumps;
