Explanatory Note
This Bill amends the Probate Act to be consistent with an earlier amendment to the Wills Act expanding the permissibility of holograph wills.
An Act to Amend Chapter 31
of the Acts of 2000,
the Probate Act
Be it enacted by the Governor and Assembly as follows:
1 Subsection 30(2) of Chapter 31 of the Acts of 2000, the Probate Act, is amended by striking out "of one witness to the execution of the will that is" in the third line.
2 This Act comes into force on such day as the Governor in Council orders and declares by proclamation.
