An Act Respecting a Memorial Day
to Honour Police and Peace Officers

Be it enacted by the Governor and Assembly as follows:

1 This Act may be cited as the Police and Peace Officers' Memorial Day Act.

2 Throughout the Province, in each and every year, the third Sunday in October shall be kept and observed under the name of Police and Peace Officers' Memorial Day.

3 This Act comes into force on such day as the Governor in Council orders and declares by proclamation.
