Explanatory Note

This Bill provides for full indexing, based on the change in the consumer price index, for persons receiving the benefits referred to in Section 70 of the Workers' Compensation Act.

An Act to Amend Chapter 10
of the Acts of 1994-95,
the Workers' Compensation Act

Be it enacted by the Governor and Assembly as follows:

1 Subsection 70(1) of Chapter 10 of the Acts of 1994-95, the Workers' Compensation Act, is amended by striking out "one half of" in the third line.
