Explanatory Note
This Bill requires the Minister of Finance to publish an annual report where the Minister enters into an agreement with the Government of Canada, pursuant to Section 69 of the Act, respecting the transferring of money.
An Act to Amend Chapter 365
of the Revised Statutes, 1989,
the Provincial Finance Act
1 Section 69 of Chapter 365 of the Revised Statutes, 1989, the Provincial Finance Act, is amended by adding "(1)" immediately after the Section number and by adding the following subsection:
(2) Where an agreement is entered into pursuant to clause (c) of subsection (1), the Minister shall publish each year, for the term of the agreement, an accounting of all transfers received from the Government of Canada in that year, including how the money was spent.
