Explanatory Note
This Bill provides that all information submitted to the Nova Scotia Insurance Review Board with respect to a rate application shall be made public by the Board.
An Act to Amend Chapter 231
of the Revised Statutes, 1989
the Insurance Act
Be it enacted by the Governor and Assembly as follows:
1 Section 155F of Chapter 231 of the Revised Statutes, 1989, the Insurance Act, as enacted by Chapter 1 of the Acts of 2003 (2nd Session), is amended by adding immediately after subsection (2) the following subsection:
(3) Any information provided to the Board pursuant to this Section shall be made public by the Board.
