Explanatory Note

This Act lowers the minimum age at which a person is eligible to become a member of the House of Assembly from nineteen to eighteen years.

An Act to Amend Chapter 1
(1992 Supplement)
of the Revised Statutes, 1989,
the House of Assembly Act

Be it enacted by the Governor and Assembly as follows:

1 Section 11 of Chapter 1 (1992 Supplement) of the Revised Statutes, 1989, the House of Assembly Act, is amended by striking out "nineteen" in the last line and substituting "eighteen".
