Hansard Help
The hparser script
To access the hparser script, use the admin menu:
Content -> Legislature -> Hansard Import
It is good to check that the processed HTML looks as expected. Also see that it found the correct Hansard node to insert the text into, and press the button at the bottom to insert.
If it did not find the correct Hansard node you may need to enter the right ID in the text box. To find the ID you first need to find the content item. Click Content in the admin menu to find the list of all content on the site. The filters at the top can be used. The Type filter especially, you can use it to display just Hansards. Once you find the correct content item, go to the edit form for it, and you can find its ID in your browser's address bar. For example, the address may be "https://nslegislature.ca/node/122836/edit?destination=admin/content" , the ID would be 122836.
Fixing / Undoing
In the event of unintended modifications you can return a Hansard item to any previously saved version. Find the list of versions on the revisions tab. This tab will be at the top of both the Hansard view page and the Hansard edit page for the item. The tab will not appear if the item has only one revision.
In the revisions tab, the dates in the left most column can be clicked to see the content that version had. To return to one of the previous version use the revert link in the same row.
Editing Hansard Data
Be sure to set the correct Hansard type to find the fields for that type on the form.
Under Committee 2 entries should be checked: The specific committee and also its committee type.
