An Act to Amend Chapter 92
of the Revised Statutes, 1989,
the Consumer Protection Act

Be it enacted by the Governor and Assembly as follows:

1 Section 33 of Chapter 92 of the Revised Statutes, 1989, the Consumer Protection Act, is amended by adding immediately after clause (c) the following clause:

(d) imposing restrictions, including the regulation or prohibition of expiry dates less than thirty-six months on goods, including gift certificates or gift cards, that are exchangeable or redeemable for goods or services;
