Explanatory Note
This Bill changes the name of the Antigonish Farmers' Mutual Fire Insurance Company to the Antigonish Farmers' Mutual Insurance Company.
An Act to Amend Chapter 87
of the Acts of 1915, An Act respecting the
Antigonish Farmers' Mutual Fire Insurance Company,
and Chapter 105 of the Acts of 1981,
An Act to Confer Additional Powers Upon
Antigonish Farmers' Mutual Fire Insurance Company
1 The title of Chapter 87 of the Acts of 1915, An Act respecting the Antigonish Farmers' Mutual Fire Insurance Company, is amended by striking out "Fire".
2 Chapter 87 is further amended by adding immediately after Section 1 the following Section:
(2) A reference in any enactment or document to the Antigonish Farmers' Mutual Fire Insurance Company shall, as regards any subsequent transaction, matter or thing, be read as a reference to the Antigonish Farmers' Mutual Insurance Company.
3 The title of Chapter 105 of the Acts of 1981, An Act to Confer Additional Powers Upon Antigonish Farmers' Mutual Fire Insurance Company, is amended by striking out "Fire".
4 Section 1 of Chapter 105 is amended by striking out "Fire" in the second line.
5 Section 2 of Chapter 105 is amended by striking out "Fire" in the third line.
