Explanatory Note
This Bill requires that ten per cent of the net lottery ticket revenue received by the Nova Scotia Gaming Corporation be used to support sport and recreation programs and facilities.
An Act to Amend Chapter 4
of the Acts of 1994-95,
the Gaming Control Act
1 Chapter 4 of the Acts of 1994-95, the Gaming Control Act, is amended by adding immediately after Section 29 the following Section:
(2) The sums required for the purpose of subsection (1) shall be paid out of money appropriated by the Legislature for that purpose and nothing in subsection (1) affects the appropriation or expenditure of money not appropriated for that purpose.
