An Act to incorporate the
Associated Alumni of Acadia College

Be it enacted by the Governor and Assembly as follows:

1 Section 1 of Chapter 76 of the Acts of 1860, An Act to incorporate the Associated Alumni of Acadia College, is amended by striking out everything after "established" in the fourth last line and substituting a period.

2 Chapter 76 is further amended by adding immediately after Section 1 the following Section:

2 No acquisition of lands, tenements, hereditaments, goods, chattels, property or effects by the society before the coming into force of this Section, whether by way of gift, purchase or any other means, is invalid by reason only that as a result of the acquisition the society held lands, tenements, hereditaments, goods, chattels, property or effects of greater value than ten thousand pounds.
