MR. TIM HOUSTON: Nova Scotians deserve to know how decisions are being made with their money. I don't know why the minister is so reluctant to provide details on how government contracts are being awarded. I will ask him for a second time if he would be honest and tell Nova Scotians . . .
MR. SPEAKER: Order, please. I would like to remind the member for Pictou East that it is unparliamentary to refer to any member of this House as being dishonest.
The honourable member for Pictou East.
MR. HOUSTON: Mr. Speaker, I apologize to the minister and to the House.

MS. BERNARD: If you'd look to the east gallery, Krista Alford and her daughter Emily. Both are extraordinarily dedicated volunteers, both to their community and to different causes. Emily, who is nine years old, has worked on many political campaigns, including mine and various other members of the House. They are constituents of Stephen Gough and I would like the House to be able . . .
MR. SPEAKER: Order, please. I would just remind the honourable minister to refer to the other honourable member by his riding name.

MR. SPEAKER: Order please. We will now begin the daily routine.
I would draw your attention to the top of your daily order papers. Make note that this will be the last day that all of the resolutions will be listed on the order paper. We're going to make a change with that so that only the new resolutions on a daily basis from the last day or two will be included on the order papers. If you want a record of it please refer to Hansard or keep the order paper from today in your desk.

MR. SPEAKER: I just want to take a moment to remind our visitors in the gallery that it's unparliamentary to show favouritism or displeasure with anything that goes on on the floor of the House, so I'd ask you to refrain from showing your enthusiasm.

HON. CHRISTOPHER D'ENTREMONT: Mr. Speaker, I'm going to stand on a point of order and it really has to do with questions from the Liberal Party, or from the government as they go along.

HON. STERLING BELLIVEAU: Mr. Speaker, I rise on a point of order. Today in Question Period the backbenchers asked questions, again, of their own Cabinet Ministers. On April 1-2, 2014 - this year - in the Law Amendments Committee, over 150 presenters, members of the public, brought their concerns to this House. Not one question was asked by the Liberal members. Today, those same Liberal backbenchers asked questions in Question Period, taking time from Opposition Parties.
