MURRAY SCOTT: Mr. Speaker, today before Question Period the instructions from yourself, and we'll certainly take directions from yourself, you reminded members asking questions to have supplementary questions put directly related to questions asked - and I think those are words similar to those you used.

MR. SPEAKER: Before we go to Question Period, I just want to take a minute and bring to your attention - if I can indulge you for a second - yesterday's Question Period. I find it difficult to bring this matter to the attention of the House, but I feel it's necessary. I certainly don't want to be seen as interfering with what I've come to admire as the spirit and liveliness in this place.

HON. FRANK CORBETT: Mr. Speaker, during Question Period the member for Argyle put a question - I think it was his second reply - and put it to the regional minister. I don't believe they are recognized in this House, and I would ask you to look into this further and give us a ruling if you would, please.
