An Act Respecting

the Dartmouth Pollution Control Account

Be it enacted by the Governor and Assembly as follows:

1 This Act may be cited as the Dartmouth Pollution Control Account Act.

2 In this Act, "Pollution Control Account" means the Pollution Control Account referred to in subsection 229B(3) of the Dartmouth City Charter.

3 Notwithstanding any other enactment, the Council of the City of Dartmouth may, without the consent of the Minister of Municipal Affairs, use up to one million and fifty thousand dollars from money that is, during the 1995-96 fiscal year of the City, withdrawn from the Pollution Control Account for any purpose for which the Council has authority to expend money.

4 This Act has effect on and after April 1, 1995.
