An Act to Authorize

the Town of Hantsport to Make a Grant to

the Hantsport Memorial Community Centre

Be it enacted by the Governor and Assembly as follows:

1 This Act may be cited as the Hantsport Memorial Community Centre Financial Assistance Act, 1996.

2 The Town of Hantsport may make a grant to the Hantsport Memorial Community Centre, a body corporate incorporated by Chapter 120 of the Acts of 1948, of a sum not exceeding thirty thousand dollars for each of three consecutive municipal fiscal years commencing on April 1, 1996, to be applied to the cost of operating the Community Centre in each of the three municipal fiscal years while this grant is in effect.

3 All sums required for such payment shall be held to be sums required for ordinary lawful purpose of the Town and shall be raised, levied and collected in the same manner and in all respects as other sums required for the ordinary lawful purpose of the Town are raised, levied and collected.
