Explanatory Note
This Bill
(a) prohibits a person under the age of majority from participating in a game of
chance or a lottery scheme; and
(b) prohibits a person in charge of a gaming premise or lottery scheme from
permitting a person under the age of majority to play a game of chance in a gaming
premise or participate in a lottery scheme.
An Act to Amend Chapter 4
of the Acts of 1994-95,
the Gaming Control Act
Be it enacted by the Governor and Assembly as follows:
1 Section 100 of Chapter 4 of the Acts of 1994-95, the Gaming Control Act, is
repealed and the following Section substituted:
100 (1) No person under the age of majority shall play a game of chance in a
gaming premise or participate in a lottery scheme.
(2) No person in charge of a gaming premise or lottery scheme shall
permit a person under the age of majority to play a game of chance in a gaming premise
or participate in a lottery scheme.
