Honourable Danielle Barkhouse
The Honourable Danielle Barkhouse is the Speaker of the House.
Ms. Barkhouse was first elected to the Nova Scotia House of Assembly as MLA for Chester-St. Margaret’s in 2021.
Prior to being an MLA, Ms. Barkhouse was a councillor for the Municipality of Chester.
She is also a member of the House of Assembly Management Commission. In addition Ms. Barkhouse is a member of the Special Committee to Review the Estimates of the Auditor General and the Chief Electoral Officer.
