The Honourable Patricia Arab was first elected to the Nova Scotia House of Assembly as MLA for Fairview-Clayton Park in 2013 and was re-elected in 2017 and 2021. She is currently the Liberal Deputy House Leader.

Ms. Arab is currently the Opposition House Leader.

She has been Minister of Service Nova Scotia and Internal Services and Minister of Communications Nova Scotia.

She is a former high school teacher/counsellor in the South Shore Regional School Board.
