Hugh MacKay was first elected to the Nova Scotia House of Assembly as MLA for Chester-St. Margaret's in 2017.
Before becoming an MLA he acted as a consultant in the geo-information technologies sector. He is the Executive Director of GeoAlliance Canada and the Founder and Director of Doors Open Halifax.
