Residential Tenancies Act
First Reading: October 14, 2021
This Bill requires all advertisements for residential premises to disclose the rent payable, including any additional fees.
1 Chapter 401 of the Revised Statutes, 1989, the Residential Tenancies Act, is amended by adding immediately after Section 6 the following heading and Section:
- 6A No person shall advertise residential tenancies for rent without the inclusion of a statement disclosing the rent payable,
including any additional fees related to the renting of the residential premises.
