This Bill eliminates the possibility of a different minimum wage rate for apprentices and inexperienced employees.
An Act to Amend Chapter 246
of the Revised Statutes, 1989,
the Labour Standards Code,
to Eliminate a Different Minimum Wage Rate
for Apprentices and Inexperienced Employees
1 (1) Clause 50(2)(g) of Chapter 246 of the Revised Statutes, 1989, the Labour Standards Code, is repealed.
- (3) The Governor in Council may not fix a special rate of wages for apprentices and inexperienced employees.
