Explanatory Note
This Bill provides that all meetings of the standing committees of the House of Assembly must be televised by Legislative Television unless held in camera.
An Act to Amend Chapter 1
(1992 Supplement)
of the Revised Statutes, 1989,
the House of Assembly Act,
Respecting Committees
Be it enacted by the Governor and Assembly as follows:
1 Chapter 1 (1992 Supplement) of the Revised Statutes, 1989, the House of Assembly Act, is amended by adding immediately after Section 35 the following Section:
- 35A All meetings of the standing committees of the House must be televised by Legislative Television unless held in camera.
2 The money required for the purpose of this Act must be paid out of money appropriated for that purpose by the Legislature.
