Explanatory Note
This Bill authorizes the Governor in Council to make regulations respecting the self-exclusion of individuals from casinos and the consequences of those individuals entering a casino in contravention of the self-exclusion.
An Act to Amend Chapter 4
of the Acts of 1994-95,
the Gaming Control Act
1 Subsection 127(1) of Chapter 4 of the Acts of 1994-95, the Gaming Control Act, as amended by Chapter 28 of the Acts of 2000 and Chapter 63 of the Acts of 2011, is further amended by adding immediately after clause (ai) the following clause:
- (aia) respecting the self-exclusion of individuals from casinos, including their
reinstatement and the consequences of those individuals entering a casino in contravention of the self-exclusion, which
consequences may include disentitlement to prizes or winnings and forfeiture of wagers;
