An Act to Establish
Cancer Survivors Day
AND WHEREAS Cancer Survivors Day is an inspiration for those recently diagnosed with cancer;
AND WHEREAS Cancer Survivors Day honours survivors and demonstrates that a full life can be a reality after a cancer diagnosis;
THEREFORE be it enacted by the Governor and Assembly as follows:
1 This Act may be cited as the Cancer Survivors Day Act.
2 Throughout the Province, in each and every year, the first Sunday in June shall be kept and observed under the name of Cancer Survivors Day.
