Explanatory Note

This Bill increases the number of full-time members of the Nova Scotia Utility and Review Board from eight to a maximum of ten.

An Act to Amend Chapter 11
of the Acts of 1992,
the Utility and Review Board Act

Be it enacted by the Governor and Assembly as follows:

1 Subsection 5(1) of Chapter 11 of the Acts of 1992, the Utility and Review Board Act, as amended by Chapter 7 of the Acts of 1995, is further amended by striking out "eight" in the first line and substituting "such number, not less than eight and not exceeding ten, of".

2 This Act comes into force on such day as the Governor in Council orders and declares by proclamation.
