An Act to Declare
the Brook Trout to be the
Provincial Fish of Nova Scotia

Be it enacted by the Governor and Assembly as follows:

1 This Act may be cited as the Provincial Fish Act.

2 The brook trout (Salvelinus fontinalis) is declared to be the Provincial Fish of the Province.

3 This Act comes into force on such day as the Governor in Council orders and declares by proclamation.
