Explanatory Note

This Bill provides that where there is a conflict between the Quality-improvement Information Protection Act and the regulations under it and any other enactment, that Act and the regulations prevail.

An Act to Amend Chapter 8
of the Acts of 2015,
the Quality-improvement Information Protection Act

Be it enacted by the Governor and Assembly as follows:

1 Chapter 8 of the Acts of 2015, the Quality-improvement Information Protection Act, is amended by adding immediately after Section 2 the following Section:

    2A Where there is a conflict between this Act and the regulations and any other enactment, this Act and the regulations prevail.
