Explanatory Note
This Bill requires all public servants, unionized and non-unionized, to be treated equally with respect to pay increases.
An Act to Amend Chapter 376
of the Revised Statutes, 1989,
the Public Service Act
1 Chapter 376 of the Revised Statutes, 1989, the Public Service Act, is amended by adding immediately after Section 17C the following Section:
17CA Notwithstanding any enactment, all persons employed by Her Majesty in right of the Province or otherwise employed in the public service of the Province, whether or not included in a bargaining unit under any enactment, must be treated equally with respect to increases in wages or salary.
