Explanatory Note

This Bill amends the Trade Union Act to remove the limitation on interest arbitration for police to the items listed in the Schedule to Part I of the Act.

An Act to Amend Chapter 475
of the Revised Statutes, 1989,
the Trade Union Act

Be it enacted by the Governor and Assembly as follows:

1 Subsection 52A(4) of Chapter 475 of the Revised Statutes, 1989, the Trade Union Act, is repealed.

2 The Schedule to Part I of Chapter 475, as enacted by Chapter 48 of the Acts of 2006, is amended by striking out "POLICE AND" in the second line of the heading.
