Explanatory Note

This Bill requires each district health authority to conduct, within six months, an analysis of the availability of parking spots for the disabled at each of their public facilities.

An Act to Amend Chapter 6
of the Acts of 2000,
the Health Authorities Act

Be it enacted by the Governor and Assembly as follows:

1 Section 83 of Chapter 6 of the Acts of 2000, the Health Authorities Act, is amended by adding immediately after Section 83 the following Section:

83A (1) Every district health authority shall conduct an analysis of the availability of parking spots for disabled persons at each of their public facilities.

(2) The district health authority shall submit the analysis conducted under subsection (1) to the Minister within six months of the coming into force of this Section.
