Explanatory Note

This Bill adds the Blue Mountain - Birch Cove Lakes Wilderness Area as a wilderness area designated under the Wilderness Areas Protection Act.

An Act to Amend Chapter 27
of the Acts of 1998,
the Wilderness Areas Protection Act

Be it enacted by the Governor and Assembly as follows:

1 Schedule A to Chapter 27 of the Acts of 1998, the Wilderness Areas Protection Act, is amended by adding immediately after area number 30 the following area:

31. BLUE MOUNTAIN - BIRCH COVE LAKES WILDERNESS AREA

ALL and singular that certain lot, piece, parcel or tract of land and land covered with water located in the County of Halifax, Province of Nova Scotia, lying between and contiguous with the shores of Kearney Lake and Frasers Lake, owned by Her Majesty in right of the Province and known as the Blue Mountain - Birch Cove Lakes Area.
