In 2013, following the reivew of the Electoral Boundaries Commission, this district was renamed Halifax Fairview and it gained the area east of Herring Cove Road and north of Frog Pond Park from Halifax Atlantic. It lost the area north of Highway 102 and east of Northwest Arm Drive / Dunbrack Street to Fairview-Clayton Park.
