Explanatory Note

This Bill amends the Property Valuation Services Corporation Act to

(a) remove the Deputy Minister of Service Nova Scotia and Municipal Relations as a non-voting member of the Board of Directors of the Property Valuation Services Corporation; and

(b) increase from two to three the number of independent members the Board may appoint as members of the Board.

An Act to Amend Chapter 19
of the Acts of 2006,
the Property Valuation Services Corporation Act

Be it enacted by the Governor and Assembly as follows:

1 (1) Clause 15(1)(e) of Chapter 19 of the Acts of 2006, the Property Valuation Services Corporation Act, is repealed.

(2) Subsection 15(2) of Chapter 19 is amended by striking out "two" in the second line and substituting "three".
