An Act to Amend Chapter 18
of the Acts of 1998,
the Municipal Government Act

Be it enacted by the Governor and Assembly as follows:

1 Chapter 18 of the Acts of 1998, the Municipal Government Act, is amended by adding immediately after Section 101 the following Sections:

101A (1) Notwithstanding any enactment, the registrar of deeds may publish

(a) sale price; and

(b) any related information prescribed by the Minister,

obtained from an affidavit that is filed pursuant to Section 101 on or after July 1, 2010.

(2) The exercise by the Minister of the authority contained in clause (1)(b) is regulations within the meaning of the Regulations Act.

101B For greater certainty, information contained in an affidavit filed pursuant to Section 101 or predecessor legislation is permitted to be disclosed, and has always been permitted to be disclosed, to an assessor for the purpose of the Assessment Act.
