Explanatory Note
Clause 1 adds provisions governing cell phone contracts to the Consumer Protection Act.
Clause 2 increases the penalty amounts in the Act to $25,000 for an individual and $300,000 for a corporation.
Clause 3 provides that this Act comes into force on proclamation.
