Dartmouth South - Portland Valley Honourable Marilyn More NDP
The Honourable Marilyn More was first elected to the Nova Scotia House of Assembly as the MLA for Dartmouth South-Portland Valley in 2003 and she was re-elected in 2006 and in 2009.
Marilyn has served as the NDP Caucus Chair and was the first female Party Whip in NS during her 2006-07 appointment by Darrell Dexter.
She was the first woman elected to a school board in NS (1978) and she served as Chair of the Dartmouth District School Board for a number of years. She is a former junior high teacher.
